breed: československý vlčák (czechoslovakian wolfdog)
breed developed by crossing between German shepherd and Carpathian wolf. But! It's not half- dog, half-wolf, it's the fourth generation (F4), where in every of these four generations was added German shepherd blood. So he has "only" about 6% of wolf blood, but he still looks like wolf and in many cases behaving like him. He's very connected with his owner, quite fast understands, he's very intelligent and faithful. But it's resolutely not a dog for everyone. Character of this breed is very strongly pursueded and unsuitable dogs are rejected of breeding.

Hes beautiful. I have a dog that is actually 97% gray wolf and the other 3% is a mix of German Shepherd Siberian Husky and Malamute.

he must be beautiful :)
but these hybrids have very difficult nature..and most of them are too shy. Czechoslovakian wolfdog is a registered breed, so it doesn't have too much wolf blood, but their nature is, thanks to the breeding, still wolfish, but not shy or agressive.
but everything depends on their owner :) If you understand to your dog/wolf, doesn't matter how much wolf blood he has ;)

ooh, that's a really, really beautiful dog... holy, I want one. :/ and for future ideas I might get -- how easy is it to buy one, and in which countries can they be found? they're really, really beautiful, and it's good they've got so little wolf blood, because I don't like the idea of creating some sort of tame wolf ..

well, the easiest way to get one is here, in the Czech (or Slovak) Republic. but there are many breeders all around the world, e.g. in Italy, Hungary, Germany...but you can find them all over the Europe. and it isn't difficult to get one - choose some breeder, connect with him and ask for puppies. Czech dogs are also sold to foreign countries (e.g. Uno z Molu, which is czech dog living in Denmark).
but - I'm not sure what about the law in Sweden. I've read it's the same like in the UK and there is almost impossible to import dog with wolf blood there :(

okay -- I think it's hard to import a dog with wolf blood, and I know there is a law restriction on how much wolf blood a dog can carry to be legal. I think they can be max 50% wolf... So I think it's harder importing a wolf dog than "creating" one in Sweden. When I get old enough to buy a dog (right now I'm only 16 and still living with my parents, so :P) I'll make sure to check up on it.

Thanks for the link :)
